The Eredivisie is probably one of the most exciting leagues in Europe at the moment. Ajax and PSV both have 75 points with three matches left, but Ajax’ is currently on top with a slightly better goal difference. Vitesse have dropped to the 8th place after disappointing results recently and should at least draw if they want to qualify for the playoffs games.

After a disappointing result against rival NEC last week, Vitesse will play host to ADO Den Haag this Saturday. Our boys are hoping to keep the three points in Arnhem this weekend. In the last two home matches Vitesse were defeated by Feyenoord and Willem II.
NEC have won the Gelderse Derby in Nijmegen with 2-1 today. Both teams had many chances and a draw would’ve been fair, but defensive mistakes by Van der Werff and goalkeeper Room brought NEC the three points.

This Sunday Vitesse will take on De Graafschap. The hosts haven’t lose in their last three matches at home (2 wins, 1 draw) and have finally left the last spot after 20 matches. Vitesse are hoping to grab the 3 points against relegation candidate De Graafschap to keep in touch with all other teams challenging for the third spot.
The Vitesse reserves played an important match against leaders Sparta Rotterdam tonight. The team (with again 8 youth players starting + Leerdam, Velthuizen and Nathan) beat the Sparta reserves with 5-2!
